Online Passport Renewal | PICA

A valid and working email address is very important when renewing your Jamaican passport online. If you do not have an email address, you may subscribe to any free email service like Yahoo! or Gmail for an email account. Please ensure that you activate your email account prior to using the Online Passport System.

To replace a damaged Jamaican passport, the following documents are required:-

Completed Passport Application Form: Download Here

  1. If applicant is/was married, complete Section B.  
  2. Section E must be signed and dated by applicant
  3. Two (2) passport size photographs
  4. Birth Certificate (original format)
  5. Last valid JA. passport, if available and signed STATEMENT explaining circumstances of damaged passport
  6. $200 (US) money order or cashier’s check ONLY!

If these are being mailed, please note following instructions clearly:-

  • One of the photographs must be notarized by Notary Public. (DO NOT STAMP PHOTO)
  • Section G must be signed and sealed by Notary Public
  • Send payment in Money Order made payable to Consulate General of Jamaica

The first step in obtaining a copy of your marriage certificate is to complete the online marriage certificate application form. You can complete the form on the Registrar General’s Department (R.G.D) website at https://www.rgd.gov.jm/index.php/application-forms

Go to the following section at the bottom of the page and click on the “Apply Now” button:


Once you have completed the form correctly, click “Submit Application” located directly under the Marriage Certificate Application Form.

      The Jamaican Consulate in Atlanta does not handle any matters concerning the issuance of Jamaican marriage or birth certificates. These matters are only handled by the Registrar General’s Office in Jamaica. Please contact them directly at 876-619-1260 regarding Marriage or Birth Certificate matters.

    I ordered duplicate marriage certificate on 3rd September which stayed up to 30 days for delivery to UK. This has not arrived please can you advise when I can expect delivery

      We do not have anything to do with the issuance of marriage certificates. Also, our jurisdiction only covers the state of Georgia. Please contact the Registrar General’s Office in Jamaica at 876-619-1260 regarding Marriage or Birth Certificate matters.

    We were married in Montego Bay on the 12/11/14 and were only there for the day as we were on a cruise. My name is alison crowe (Lomas) and his name is John Crowe .

      Alison try calling again yo make sure you are legally married because u need to be in the country at least 24 hours to legally marry in Jamaica. Also if you have the certificate his name should be there

      If you scroll to the bottom of the “Marriage Certificate” section on the Registrar General’s website you will see a section labeled “Don’t know your marriage officer’s name – Click Here”

      Click on the button and follow the instructions.

    The process for renewal is the same as the process for a new passport application with the exception that you will also complete the “Recent Passport” section (SECTION D) of the application form with the old/expired passport details as well as submit the old passport with the renewal application form.
