Memorial Service For Attorney James F. Steckbauer – Spouse of Carmen Light

Attorney James F. Steckbauer, spouse of Carmen Light. On December 27, 2018, James died in the Mandeville Hospital in Jamaica; while he and his spouse Carmen were on a Mission Trip and Vacation. “Jim” was born on December 15, 1947 in Antigo, Wisconsin. He graduated from The University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point; later received his law degree from Atlanta Law School and practiced law in the Atlanta area. He spoke five languages and taught English, Korean and German as a volunteer in his spare time. Jim’s friends and family particularly enjoyed his witty repartee. His favorite pastime was reading and singing German songs to children, taking the dogs for a ride, and listening to his favorite music. Jim was retired and is survived by his spouse, Carmen Light, of Lilburn, Georgia. Son Timothy, (Cindy) Steckbauer. He is also survived by brothers William, Kenneth, Dennis, Daniel; sisters Mary, Ann, Jane, Susan, nieces and nephews. Grandchildren Jessica and Megan. Step-daughters Khadeen, Kheidra, Katrina, Casandra, “nieces” Colleen,Tittana, Shellita, Kayden and Rihianna, “nephew” Nehemiah. A Celebration of Life for Jim was held in Spalding, Manchester, Jamaica. See you on Friday, February 8, 2019 – 11am to 11pm Family & Friends will meet, greet & Give Praises.
